Personal Description:
The Barber Motorsports Park is the new home of The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum.  The museum, which was founded in 1994, has been one of Birmingham's best-kept secrets, but that changed once it relocated.  The Collection of over 900 motorcycles and 45 cars is the largest collection in the United States and possibly the world.  There are bikes from 17 nations with 125 manufacturers represented.  Skilled employees dedicated to the authentic restoration of these machines complete all restorations in-house, with the exception of the chrome plating work.  The Barber Motorsports Park is also the home of a World-Class 2.3 mile Road Course, which has been built to FIA and FIM standards.  The facility, which is already being called the best in the nation, is 45 feet wide with 16 turns and has at least 80 feet of elevation change.  The paved paddock is tiered so that all competitors have the perfect view.  Probably the most unique factor of this facility is that from most points around the track, the spectator has at least 80 percent total visibility of the on track action.
